10 Years after INCOR

Fun-loving, curious, sports-mad, active. That is Geoffrey.

Exactly 10 years ago, Geoffrey received the INCOR® ventricular assist device from Berlin Heart. He used the intracorporeal system to bridge the 20-month wait for a donor heart, returned to his profession as an engineer, and shocked us by asking whether gliding with the INCOR® would also be possible.

Geoffrey has retained his joy of life and his activity in the years after his heart transplant. He is an avid glider pilot, enjoys running and also travels a lot for business.

The connection to Berlin Heart has never been broken. Geoffrey visits us in Berlin, at congresses and runs the Regensburg Quarter Marathon together with our colleagues.

Dear Geoffrey,

we are grateful to be able to accompany you on your personal journey, your joy of life is contagious! You show us and especially our patients that it is worthwhile to never lose courage and that a fulfilled life is possible despite severe heart disease.

Our patients. Our mission!
