Today's Organ Donation Day is meant to make us thoughtful. Let us think about a decision that is made with the heart: the decision to organ donation. Our patients wait months to years for that one message, that one call that promises a new life. In doing so, they place their hope in the hands of a society that has taken a clear position on organ donation.

At the same time, we are also thinking of those who have given numerous people a second chance at life by saying "YES!" to organ donation. Our thanks go to them!
