Today, 30 years ago, EXCOR® Pediatric has been implanted for the first time. The 8-year-old boy was able to bridge the waiting period for a donor heart with the help of the ventricular assist device. Since then, we have continuously developed the system and are the only provider of ventricular assist devices (VAD´s) for children worldwide.
