The EXCOR® Active

Mobility is crucial for a child's early development.

With the EXCOR® Active, children can enjoy a new level of mobility while undergoing VAD therapy*. Click on the video below to learn more about our new driving unit for the pulsatile ventricular assist device EXCOR®.

But why is mobility so important? It supports physical, cognitive, and sensory development by strengthening muscles, improving coordination, and stimulating brain growth. Through mobility, children learn about their environment, develop problem-solving skills, and integrate sensory information. It also promotes socialization, emotional growth, and language development. Providing a safe and engaging environment for children to explore and move freely is essential for their overall development.

We are dedicated to offering the mobility every patient needs. Our small, smart, and agile driving unit, EXCOR® Active, has been specifically developed to provide children with the independence they deserve.

Watch the video below to let our EXCOR® Active introduce itself and learn about the features that help our patients stay mobile - even with heart disease.
